Els Capellans The glass walls offer views of the palm grove, the pool, the stone paths… In the kitchen, our chef, Jesús Gómez Bedoya, puts the finishing touches on a plate of fluffy rice. Now, it’s ready to be served. Guests wait at their tables. They have heard a lot about the rice here. They chat, they toast over a glass of wine. Someone points outdoors and proposes that they take a stroll later on and follow that path that disappears into the palm trees… It is a radiant day.

Our classic dishes: crusted rice, rice with seafood, the Postre del Cura (dessert), lobster salad with seasonal vegetables and herb oil, and melon gazpacho and lobster.
Wine Cellar: We have a full list of wines chosen from the main, high-quality designation of origins (D.O.).
The Chef: Jesús Gómez Bedoya was born in Paris, in 1967. After having studied hospitality at the Santander School and the Santiago de Compostela Advanced School, he decided to embark on a 3-year journey through different restaurants on the Mediterranean Coast. In 1989, he took charge of the kitchens of the Huerto del Cura Hotel. His unending desire to improve has led him to continue his studies at the C.D.T. through various coursework (vacuum cooking, baking for restaurants, kitchen management, information technology…), in addition to participating in different stages with some of the most important chefs in the country.
Our cuisine, which is well-known and recognized nationally, guarantees healthy, natural and high-quality food.

The entire Els Capellans Restaurant is designed so that, while you’re enjoying a delicious meal, you can appreciate the views of the palms that fill the outdoors at the Huerto del Cura Hotel.
In addition, the restaurant has a spacious terrace next to the pool, where you can take pleasure in a delicious meal outdoors with the good weather. At night, it turns into a unique chill-out lounge.
